Retraction and Correction Policy

The Proceedings of SZMC follows a strict retraction and correction policy to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the scholarly record.

  1. Corrections (Erratum / Corrigendum):
    • If a significant error or omission is identified in a published article that affects the accuracy, but not the overall validity of the work, a correction notice will be issued.
    • The authors must promptly provide supporting evidence and corrected information to the Editorial Office.
    • The correction will be published in the next available issue, linked to the original article, and will be freely accessible.
  2. Retractions:
    • Retractions are considered in cases of scientific misconduct, plagiarism, redundant publication, unreliable findings due to major errors or unethical research.
    • A retraction notice will clearly state the reasons for retraction (e.g., honest error, research misconduct, data falsification).
    • The original article will not be removed but will be digitally watermarked as ?Retracted? to maintain the scholarly record.
  3. Author?s Responsibility:
    • Authors are obligated to promptly inform the Editorial Office if they discover a significant error in their published work.
    • The corresponding author must cooperate fully in providing clarifications, corrections, or retraction requests.
  4. Editor?s and Publisher?s Role:
    • The Editorial Team, in consultation with the publisher, reserves the right to retract or correct an article if errors, ethical breaches, or research misconduct are confirmed.
